78.Rpm. Records ( Only 78's )

All the music on this Blog is recorded from 78's rpm so you kinda get the pure music sound. From about the 50's onwards all the music console's with all the knobs and sliders could alter the tone of the recorded voice came into play so they could play with the recordings till it sounded okay. Some of the records on here are very badly scratched and worn with plenty of hiss crackles and pops so I have a filter on my computer that eliminates the hiss and crackles so the sound won't be 100% pure

About Me

Micky
Back in the day's of the 20's / 30's / 40's / 50's our music was supplied for listening to on a very heavy Brittle shellac disc and played on a wind up gramphone and played with a steel needle...needless to say these discs got broken very easy and the needle certainly damaged them with wear and tear with plenty of hiss and crackle and pops' !!....Today Music has progressed in leaps and bounds with the 45 rpm single 33 rpm L/P then of course we had the tape era and the digital age is now opon us.. so mostly now the recorded discs are now making a comeback as the 33 rpm. Album / L/P. but at a price !! So relax and take it easy wind your mind down to an earlier time when life was taken at a slower pace and life was more Innocent !!
