Three of the most famous accordion bands on records, Don Porto and His Novelty Accordion Band, Rossini’s Accordions and Primo Scala and His Accordion Band were, in fact, pseudonyms for bands led by Harry Bidgood.
Eclipse, eight-inch records with slightly narrower grooves that enabled them to have a similar playing time as conventional ten-inch records and sold exclusively through the British branch of the F.W. Woolworth dime store chain for a sixpence. Don Porto and His Novelty Accordion Band was the pseudonym used for Bidgood’s accordion-focused output on Eclipse.

Jimmy Devon Boyd (January 9, 1939 – March 7, 2009) was an American singer, musician, and actor known for his 1952 recording of the song "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus."

The Sportsmen Quartet (prior to World War II known as The Sportsmen) was a Barbershop Quartet. They began appearances in 1938 and are most remembered for their many appearances on both the radio and television series of the Jack Benny Program (which ran on TV from 1950 to 1961) and many cartoons including ''What's Opera, Doc'' and ''Mississippi Hare''.
The Sportsmen, also known as The Sportsmen Quartet, was a singing group originally formed in the 1930s and performing primarily on radio, film soundtracks, and records, often singing backup to star names.

Helen Forrest (born Helen Fogel, April 12, 1917 – July 11, 1999) was an American singer of traditional pop and swing music. She served as the "girl singer" for three of the most popular big bands of the Swing Era (Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, and Harry James), thereby earning a reputation as "the voice of the name bands."....... By the end of the 1950s, Helen's solo career waned as rock'n'roll became increasingly popular. Helen's manager, Joe Graydon, said, "She was at an `in-between' stage in her career. Not young enough to be current. Not old enough to be nostalgia."After a dip in recording in the 1950s, including a stint with the startup Bell Records, Helen sang with Tommy Dorsey's orchestra, led by Sam Donahue, in the early 1960s. Helen continued to make occasional records and perform in concerts and was performing at Lake Tahoe with Frank Sinatra Jr. in 1963 when he was kidnapped.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Forrest performed in supper clubs on "big band nostalgia" tours, including appearances with Harry James and Dick Haymes. In 1977, Helen participated in a television reunion of herself, James, and Haymes on The Merv Griffin Show.  In 1983, Helen released her final album, entitled Now and Forever.

Harry Gordon was born in Aberdeen as Alexander Ross Gordon (11 July 1893 – 21 January 1957), known as Harry Gordon, was a popular Scottish entertainer, comedian and impressionist, touring throughout Scotland and further afield. From the 1920s through the 1950s Gordon also produced a large number of recordings, including several under assumed names. He was known as the Laird of Inversnecky, a fictional Scottish town he used in his comic routines, which ended up becoming the nickname for Inverness.

                                                        Barbara Lyon
Barbara Bebe Lyon (September 9, 1931 – July 10, 1995) was a singer of popular songs and an actress, born in the United States but primarily active in the United Kingdom.
She was born in Hollywood, California. Her parents, Ben Lyon and Bebe Daniels, were both Hollywood actors, beginning in silent films with careers extending into the 1930s.
From 1950 to 1961 they had a radio programme on the BBC, Life With The Lyons. Ben, Bebe, Barbara, and Barbara's brother Richard all played themselves on this show.
In the 1950s, both Barbara and Richard began their own independent careers; Richard recorded one single, but primarily found his career to be as an actor, both in the UK and the US. With Barbara, the situation was reversed: she did some acting, but found more popularity as a singer.
