Denis Martin (1920 – October 1988) was a Northern Irish singer, actor and theatre producer active in the 1940s to 1980s.
Martin won the All-Ireland tenor competition at Feis Ceoil in 1944,He then moved to England where he performed as a singer in musical shows and in radio and TV broadcasts. Soon after arriving in England Denis joined the Players' Theatre, a permanent music-hall company in London. In 1949 he played the juvenile lead in King's Rhapsody with Ivor Novello.

Carroll Richard Gibbons (January 4, 1903 – May 10, 1954) was an American-born pianist, bandleader and popular composer who made his career primarily in England during the British dance band era.
He liked Britain so much that he settled there, and after becoming pianist with the Sylvians, featuring members of the Savoy Orpheans, he later became the co-leader (with Howie Jacobs) of the Orpheans, the resident band at the Savoy Hotel until their contract ended in 1927. 

Jack Hylton (born John Greenhalgh Hilton; 2 July 1892 – 29 January 1965) was an English pianist, composer, band leader and impresario.
Hylton rose to prominence during the British dance band era, being referred as the "British King of Jazz" and "The Ambassador of British Dance Music" by the musical press, not only because of his popularity which extended throughout the world, but also for his use of unusually large ensembles for the time and his polished arrangements. He mostly retired from the music industry after 1940, becoming a successful theatrical businessman.

Vocal group formed by Johnny Johnston. Other members of the group were Alan Dean, Terry Devon, Irene King, Terry Devon, Pearl Carr, Joyce Frazer, Jean Campbell, Cliff Adams and Denny Vaughan. The male members of this group recorded as 'The Johnston Brothers'.

Roy Fox (October 25, 1901 – March 20, 1982) was an American-born British dance bandleader who was popular in Britain during the British dance band era.
In 1920, he put together his own band, with whom he recorded in 1925.
In 1929, Fox was invited to lead a band based at the CafĂ© de Paris in London,which he first did on September 29, 1930. He recorded on the BBC that year.
